Engaging, persuasive copy for the education sector

If you lead a school or run a business in the education sector…

You need a copywriter with more than just powerful words. You need someone who knows the industry.

My years as a classroom teacher mean I know the education industry inside out.

And if there’s anything I’ve learned in teaching it’s that relationships + results = success.

That’s what you’ll get with me – someone who cares and someone who will deliver.

In short, Copy Beyond Words.

What I can do…

Take a look below at the marketing campaigns I have created.

Learning by Questions (LBQ) is a wonderful programme for teachers designed to solidify their students’ skills while saving them the time required to plan extensive lessons. Their question sets drastically improve academic output and reduce teacher’s workload.

I wrote a blog post advertising LBQ. From the content in the blog, I expanded its reach with an email marketing campaign, a series of social media posts, a podcast advert and a teacher training presentation to add value to LBQ’s services.

Note: while the blog post was delivered to LBQ, the rest of these products are spec ads.

Email marketing

These emails were written to highlight the benefits of their programme to teachers. Company branding used consistently.

  • Minimal text for quick reads
  • Focus on benefits over features
  • Clear call to action to inspire action

Social media posts

A series of social media carousel posts designed to market LBQ’s amazing question sets to potential new clients.

  • Versatile layout for multiple formats
  • Focus on benefits over features
  • Clear call to action to inspire action

Podcast advert script

This podcast advert is designed to appeal to teachers – LBQ can save them time and help them get results for their students.

  • 30-seconds – impactful advert size
  • Focus on benefits
  • Compelling offer and clear CTA

Yorkshire Education is a Yorkshire-based recruitment company who specialise in local and supply-teaching roles. Their business owner is from Yorkshire and their staff all have experience in teaching, positioning them as experts in local education recruitment.

I created two brochures for Yorkshire Education – a company brochure (targeted towards potential clients) and a job brochure (targeted towards potential candidates).

I also created a short series of emails advertising Yorkshire Education’s services, utilising elements of the copy from the brochures.

Notethese brochures and emails are spec ads.
